Murray is limited but he's extremely tough. There's no way he would duck GGG he's just not that type of personality.
It would be interesting to see how long he'd last in there with GGG.

  2. haha see! this is one of many UK fighters that yanks can't diss, cause they know he's a top fighter, you won't see too many threads on Martin Murray put it that way. Yanks purposely make threads on poorer british fighters with bad chins like Price and Khan.

Murray has proved himself to be the best out of the british middleweights. Would probably beat all the middleweights apart from Golovkin who he'd give a really good fight.

Hes a victim to boxing's bull****.

He beat both Martinez and Sturm, but you know the deal.

One of Britain's best for sure

He's the type of fighter that wouldn't turn down a fight with anyone anywhere, that has been and could continue to be his down fall because of fighting in peoples backyards with the judges, etc

Yep, victim of home town decisions, but a credit to boxing itself for taking the fights and getting on with his business and having belief to rebuild and move on.
    Big fan of Murray.

What's so special about Murray? His offensive lacks explosive diversity, he doesn't possess superior punching power, and his hand and foot speed are rather quite ordinary.

You realize Murray had/has a chance to face G and isn't taking it, despite that it would be his highest profile fight available, right?

    Ya, not ducking

Almost every one of those things could have been said about Winky Wright.

Im not comparing the two, or comparing their quality (obviously), but Im just saying. A fighter isn't always defined by his tangebles.

That being said, Murray let the Martinez fight slip away from him, and it was a Martinez who was small and there to be taken. I don't like the mentality he shows that allows for that.

Ill be looking at future Murray fights to see just how good he really is, but the man is big, strong, durable, stays on you, and wins rounds.

Murray vs Macklin would be a badass dust up and I hope it can be made.
