    Quillin is weaker than Sturm?

Are you sure you aren't overrating the Barker performance? (or underestimating the impact of factors having more to do with Barker?)

Quillin is pretty bad for a champion, man. Rosado was bossing their fight until the cut got too bad. He is definitely one of the weakest champs around the weight, if not the whole sport.

I don't know, man. Sturm is pretty inconsistent. He looked beastly taking out Hearns, and Zbik, and Radosevic, and Barker FWIW - but strewn in between all those you have bad struggles with Macklin, Murray, Soliman and Geale. (in which you can realistically argue him going anywhere from 0-4 to 4-0...) and on those nights I'm not sure he doesn't struggle with a Rosado. On those nights I'm not sure he dominates N'Dam N'Jikam...or stops McEwan (though it was a slightly iffy stoppage, but still, Quillin was beating him up...) or drops and widely outpoints an old but game Winky, or kayos Guerrero...

    Know what I'm saying?

Murray is better off fighting Sturm, where he at least has a chance to win. I also agree this may be the best course for him at the moment. We were not discussing what would be better for GGG...

Well we can all see the type of guys PQ "dares" to fight. Rigor Mortis.
HNN was his only "live" one and by correcting a few basic mistakes HNN would win a rematch there.
Quillin is very poor. His big power has got him out of jail so far but that can only work for so long. Barely top 10. The weakest "beltholder" at 160. Nowhere near as good as Sturm IMO.

Macklin, Murray, Soliman and Geale are all better or as good as Rosado and Guerrero IMO. If Quillin fought those four at least one of them stops him, and he would run a real risk of losing to all four. He has one very good win. That's it.

Having said that, Murrays style is good for Quillin..

I'm saying that getting a decision off Quillin in UK is more do-able than getting one off Sturm in Germany for Murray. I have doubts about Quillin ability to drop/stop Murray, and the work rate on both for that fight may very well end up being unspectacular. In which case its hard to see Quillin getting the nod in UK w/o dropping him or visibly outworking him much of the fight.

Murray will fight anyone not named Golovkin. Then Golovkin will sign for a fight and Murray will promptly call him out just like Lara, Ward and Geale.

Murray's handlers will go with the highest bidder. The guy could've reasonably lost 2x now to Sergie Khomitsky if not for some hometown favoring. Then he gets pulled out of the Fletcher fight and has yet to record a victory over a top 50 MW despite most people ranking him as a top 10 MW. Getting way too much credit for giving a one-legged & one-handed Martinez a close fight and pushing a listless Sturm which many people have done.

Reasonably durable, but pretty limited. Quillin stops him and I'd favor Sturm in the rematch as I feel Felix underestimated Murray's toughness going into their fight.

When I first seen this news article a few days ago I had to question it. The Golovkin MC offer was from months ago, that's not a current offer anymore. It's no wonder his management missed Schaeffer's call if it takes them this long to get around to looking at the offers.

There was an article a year back on the scene saying that GBP is getting a promoting license in the UK

after being inactive and not looking good in his last showing, he should go for the easier fight for now, which is Sturm. then he can have a unification.

    looks good to me.

I'd be skeptical of fighting Sturm again if I were Murray's manager. I can't see how Murray didn't come away with the win in their first matchup, and I'm not sure he can do much better. It would come down to how much they trust the judging, because I can't see Murray scoring a KO.
