His ability isn't in question. His comp is. He's doing what Tyson did. Cleaning up the mess at 160. That's all. I don't know how he will do against elite fighters. I do know that he can beat a tough big strong mw who wasn't scared of him...and that guy lacked power. It's time to fight Quillin. Make a real offer. Negotiate, don't throw numbers at a fighter. Or go to 168

These GG fans are so happy that their guy isn't facing a guy his equal. Fight after fight I have to read, GG is the man, GG's unreal, GG this, GG that lol. He hasn't beaten anyone except one tough guy. We need more...! All fighters get tested. It's unavoidable and inevitable!!!

GG has great management similar to Kostya Tszyu had. KTs day of reckoning came and he passed when he beat Judah. But after that, when it came to a long, tough fight against a good puncher what happened?

hopefully he proves me wrong. i have no problem coming on here and stating i was wrong, if quillen mans up. until then, he is a ducker. i guess i shouldn't have used the word coward, i take that back.

That's not GGG's fault. He's just in his lane doing what he has to do. Like Roy Jones at LHW. The elite fighters aren't really calling him out or forcing the issue. The rep Golovkin has makes him the "boogeyman" and the top level guys are fine staying out of GGG's lane while they stay in theirs.
Kid Chocolate is not looking to fight Golovkin. He ducked Korbov, gave up his title knowing Gennady would be his mandatory should he have won that fight. Pete would need Pac and Floyd’s money in order to think about fighting GGG. The problem now is Quillin doesn't even have a title to make him a viable option at this point. Pete should grab a title from Cotto if he's found the confidence to face Golovkin so he has bargaining chips to increase his stock at the negotiation table.

he vacated, missing out on what would have been his career high payday. now he is fighting for the belt he vacated. there is no logical explanation, aside from a grade a duck.
