:deal done wonders for scott quigg and imo Murray is better. Although to this day i still gave the win to Sturm
Met him twice, once a 2 years back and the most recent time at the Groves/Froch bill. Seems an alright guy in person, but you do wonder...
Some of his cards are shocking but then its good the monopoly has been taken away from Warden. However i dont like the way Hearne brings our fighters abroad knowing they are going to get bashed up. Makes us Brits look terrible
If your good enough you will win, your kinda implying that the fighter needs something dodgy or lucky to win, while i understand home advantage can play a part in winning and pushing the fighter, i don't buy into this whole idea of getting title fights always in the UK, sometimes if you want to fight the very best you have to go abroad, like Kell Brook it's unlikely any of the elite WW's will fight him in Sheffield he needs to go over to America, and if he is elite and good enough he should win.
I agree mate but i dont see the point in bringing the likes of Purdy and Bellew abroad for a gaurenteed beating. Barker was a good coup but majority of the time hes just taking his fighters abroad for a payday
Whilst I can sympathise with him to some extent most of it is his own doing. His best win is Nick Blackwell and people seem to forget that. He's ducked GGG twice now and Quillin. He can't blame the tv deal because hatton has a link up with FW now. I reckon he wants an easy route. He was the interim champ for ages but waited and waited till GGG was made super champ to avoid him and fight for regular belt. It backfired on him and after the fletcher fight was changed to an interim bout he mysteriously pulled out injured. He was giving it the dogs bollocks to Macklin about GGG but at least he had the balls to get in there with him
I watch Sturm vs Macklin and Murray back-to-back on youtube. It takes a little over an hour and a half to watch both fights. Murray's performance looks better to me every time.
Dont you see Sturm landing 2- 3 jabs in a row time after time. Dont you see Murrays back hitting the ropes over and over? How many times does Murray drive Sturm to the ropes? What looks so great about that? Sturm himself has repeatedly said he comfortably beat Murrayand was baffled by the decision, and he has no problem admitting that Macklin has a case.
Are you ****ing Felix Sturm lmao Every time he gets mentioned your there, do you have a notification App or something homed in on the use of his name on the internet, its getting embarrasing hahaha
Whats embarrassing to me as a boxing fan is how so many "knowledgeable" fans were so quick to jum aboard the Murray hype train. Repeating a delusion doesnt make it true, you know. By the way you dont say who YOU thought won Sturm-Murray...so come on...spill it for us!! Oh one more thing....Did I mention Im a Sturm fan..
