Martin Murray v Felix Sturm

    Not too much discussion taking place about this one, but how do we rate his chances?

    He's a big strong lad, got a good ring presence, decentish puncher. Reminds me a lot of Jamie Moore in his top heavy build and style. Not overly impressed by him but he's certainly decent, and I'm not a big admirer of Felix Sturm's abilities so I feel this could be a close fight again.

    Anyway.. Sturm by decision. A proper decision this time too not like the Macklin "win". I really don't see how Murray can win to be honest. Stylistically I think it should be entertaining.

    I'm not sure this fight is really worth more than a paragraph. Just wanted some thoughts.

    I think a lot of people haven't seen either of them fight that much so it is kind of slipping under the radar. I haven't seen any publicity for it, and have not seen that many fights involving either of them. I think that Murray looks strong and tidy enough to make a decent showing, and Sturm is not the greatest champion ever... but I think Sturm on points, seems to me to have a little more and be quick enough to keep himself out of serious trouble for the twelve rounds. But I hope Murray pulls it off!

    I think Sturm handles Murray with relative ease, wouldn't be surprised to see a stoppage.

    Sturm stoppage.

    Different leagues. I actually dont think he prepared properly for Macklin and Macklin is far better than Murray.

    Simple as that for me!

    murray by stoppage late on or sturm by close decision.either way i think murray will do himself proud,just like his namesake will against rios...

    Martin is a nice guy but I cant see what he brings to the table other than strength and pressure. I might be doing him a disservice but if Macklin failed to break the Germans will, even though he should of got the decision, I think Martin will fall short but will regroup and come again with more top level experience. Good luck to him and Oliver though

    Sturm inside 10 rounds. Murray is european level at a push.

    Murray has been thrown right in the deep end noone knows how he will perform, but i haven't seen anything from him that suggests he is near Sturm's level

    Sturm, early. Murray won't apply the intelligent pressure that macklin did to negate sturm opening up. Sturm looks good in combinations, and doesn't need too much room to start putting them together.
    Murray has zero chance of winning a points decision.
