Murray fought a terribly negative 12, like the ***** he is, he held constantly, Garcia was raging forward trying to bomb him out, and may have hurt him a time or two, but too little too late, and its the UK, its not like it would have mattered anyway.

    115-111 Murray

Bah gawd, Manny spent days nursing his ribs after that legendary war, he was bedridden with only the 400 year old wandering jew Bob Arum and Jinkee to aid him. Respect the damn man's sacrifice!

What's up with these UK guys fighting so many cans, and getting hyped into something they aren't? Everyone of them sporting Glass or what? Kell Brook fought the same 80 loss bum three times. Yarde is fight feather fisted can after can while ducking Beterbiev or any other light heavy with a pulse.

Wtf does pac have to do with GGG?

And I find it funny you don’t mention GGG ruining Macklin with a body shot after Macklin was robbed against Sturm and was stretching Sergio Martinez thin in their war...but GGG KTFO of Macklin in 3.

    32.

Cool, many has Sturm losing. I liked Sturm and had him losing 7-5. I didn’t feel there were many, if any, swing rounds. Clean score for Macklin.

I didn’t say Macklin was beating SM, but he was not far behind him.

Then he gets buzzsawed by GGG, but you don’t mention that.

I agree, and I'm a Brit. Short answer in this instance is Frank Warren's diminishing empire.

He's lost loads of ground to Eddie on all fronts. His undercards are dire, his main bouts plagued by injuries and pullouts and his attendances lack-lustre. Instead of actually getting good matchups and letting his fighters take a serious risk of losing their 0, he's adapting to this by putting pressure on his payrolled commentators to hype up tomato cans to almost ridiculous levels. It's so transparent and getting frustrating now.

Also, quite a sizeable % of Brit boxing fans are how can I put this, not exactly NASA scholarship material, and blindly believe what the commentators and managers state, despite their eyes reporting otherwise.

In their eyes, the promoted fighter is always fighting some notable challenger, a step up from the rest blah blah etc etc. Yeah right.

I read elsewhere that Murray may now be back in line for another shot at Golovkin. Is this true? If so, I totally fail to see the point.

He will definitely get a good bump up the WBC ratings.
Garcia was at 6, while Murray wasn't even ranked.
