Martin Murray would walk through Cotto

Cotto does have skills, but he's there to be hit.

I'm not convinced by this new Cotto that is suddenly so much better under Roach.

The Trout fight told me all I need to know about Cotto at 154 or above. Cotto nailed Trout repeatedly with his much vaunted left hook, and Trout barely blinked. Couple that with the fact that Trout manhandled him like a child in clinches - he pushed him away when Cotto closed in and he was on the ropes.

I wouldn't mind if Trout was an iron chinned beast, but Lara and Canelo showed he isn't.

 

Yep he's not exactly hard to hit and at his age he's only going to get easier to hit

 

Same thing ppl told me about Martinez

Roach wasnt with Cotto for Trout fight so i wouldnt say thats all you need to know about Cotto

Cotto actually hasnt got hit preety much at all in his last 2 fights, something i think Roach has worked on also

 

I think it would be good. Murray can hang for awhile, i just think Cotto's jab with body shots wear down Murray

 

I know he wasn't there for the Trout fight, but the things that Roach can change aren't where the problem was. Cotto isn't suddenly going to become a bigger puncher in his thirties under Roach. Nor is he going to become vastly stronger. Those were the two reasons he lost to Trout.

 

Cotto skills are so underrated on here.

No way Cotto does what GGG couldnt even manage (though by a hair he missed the bodyshot KO)

Murray defense way too much for Cotto, and Murray punches would actually hurt him - and be much easier to land than they were against Golovkin.

Cotto was a beast in lower weights where he had a big power advantage. His skill is good but has been drastically overrated by some.

Yeah I agree completely. Also he won the title in his last fight. Yet hes a ***** and coward because hes not scheduled to fight GGG in his next fight.
