I dont know too much about him as i have only seen a few of his fights. I dont hear him mentioned much on this forum either so im wondering how good do you think he is? From what ive seen he seems like a solid operator with good boxing skills. Hes already picked up the commonwealth belt so i wonder if a macklin or Barker fight is a possible choice in the future. Granted their probably a step ahead of him at this point but maybe they could be possible matchups in if murray keeps winning. Also how far do you think he can go?
I dint think Murray is too far away from barker and macklin. Especially macklin. He is definitely doing things quietly and coming under the radar. I dint think you will find many on here that aren't impressed with him
I've only seen a bit of him he looks very good in my eyes and I no alot of ppl that speak highly of him. If he fought macklin I think he'd do very well I think macklin is so overrated.
Pretty average fighter I'm afraid. I don't see him going beyond domestic. I mean he's a pressure fighter, but he's got no power. He looks like a poor mans Jamie Moore.
Agree with TFFP seems like a solid all round fighter but nothing paticualrly special about him he is probably a level below Macklin and Barker. Hard to see where he can go domestically without getting a shot at Macklin or Barker
He will be in some exciting fights (check out his fight with Renda in Prizefighter if you haven't - still the best ever Prizefighter fight IMO) and he looks like a very solid domestic operator. If he continues to progress, then he could possibly reach European level, but nothing beyond that. I'm a fan though and will be watching his career with interest. Hopefully he get's a big domestic fight this year.
Oh hi skel, you never did explain to me about matty hall did you ya *****? And am I not saying it how I see it. I think his progression has been impressive, and that I think he would fate quite well against macklin and barker. This doesn't mean I am saying he is world class. Time will tell on that one. Put it this way neither macklin or barker are world class
Imo a fight with Barker looks more likely than a fight with macklin. Macklin is that little bit further up their rankings than Barker and is in a slightly better position for a world title. He wouldnt be likely to take a Murray fight as he would view it as a step back. Its hard to see where barker will get his foot in the door as far as a title shot is concerned at the moment at least. A barker-Murray fight would make sense as Murray is now ranked no 6 by the WBA. Its a fight that could push barker further up the ratings and its a chance for Murray to get in the mix at the top level. Maybe it would take place by the end of this year.
explain? I am a ***** now am I haha What eplaination do you wan't he has not retired you ****ing ******. Ask Tony or Frankie. Who said you said he is world class? You going off in your own world again? He is just a domestic fighter that is all bit like your fella Smith. :good
