many consider rogan to be an overachiever with little talent but
from what i have seen of him he has a good level of talent. he picks his punches well and is rather accurate

IMO he is a former underachiever who is now fulfilling his potential late in life

Let's be serious his talent is minimal. He's a classical brawler. He's got tons of heart and is making up for lost time. Decent power, but its mainly his strength and determination to take any punishment and dish out worse that has taken him pretty far.

I think his handlers have got to be careful they don't chuck him in too deep just because he beat an old and talentless guy like Skelton. I mean Sexton, Williams etc would be decent fights for now and if he continues to do the business you could think about getting him a shot.

hes not exactly ali, but his level of skill power stamina and boxing nous has gone up in the region of 25-30% in the last yr. esp the physical side.

who knows how far he can go. i think he can only have like 20-25 fights in his career due to his age and style so he should be moved along quick. there are 3/4 guys outa his reach at world level but apart from that and given the right circumstances i think he could mix it pretty well

His stamina is what really sets him apart for me throw's more in a round than most heavies throw in a fight.

hes entertaing and never involved in a boring fight which makes him great to watch but i have to admit i wouldnt want him to have to many fights as his tactic of blocking punched with his head can not surely be a good long term strategy

A good brawler, best British heavywweight of the past couple of years I think, put a bit of life into the repetitive domestic HW scene. Dont think he'll get past Euro level though mind you.

these aren't physical talents. you could argue they are mental talents. i'd say they are smarts/intangiables.

rogan could have hidden talents/intangiables. he appears to be very strong and his power could develop into something. he may also have good intangiables like stamina, chin, durability etc

Put it all together and in a hard fight he can prevail.

He reminds me a lot of Richard Dunn - a journeyman who suddenly clicked and for a couple of years walked through every opponent he faced. Then he stepped up in class.....

I think FW will be sensible and not overmatch him. Sexton is competitive but he'd be the big favourite. Sure that he'll be able to get a 'world' title shot in the same way that Skelton did, get beat and back to domestic level where the competition is pretty average and his desire and workrate can see him to victories.

It doesn't matter what he does from now, what he has already achieved is phenomenal. He's an inspiration and seems like a good guy.

His talent level is pretty limited but with the current state of the division he's certainly good enough to get a shot at a title.

hes no great shakes but his inside hooks have a lot of power on them, his stamina is awesome and his chin is granite and actually wants to mix it up so as above says hes gd enuff to fight for titles in these times
