I was very impressed with Martin Rogan in his fights with Skelton and Sexton. Is he planning on fighting again soon? It would be great to see him back in the ring and blasting away again.

Yeah mate looks like he'll be fighting Sexton again. The BBBC have issued the fight to go to purse bids last week

What's wrong with that? He had Sexton out on his feet and would have stopped him if it were not for the dodgy referee.

Well he was not looking impressive before that, he was getting outboxed and it was his fault that he didn't win, not the refs, because he should have known not to stop punching until the ref breaks it up.

that was the last fight i really enjoyed, somet about rogan, he is entertainment, still couldnt belive that he was ranked higher than haye at heavy, hope he beats sexton, and ends up fighting some one like chageav or povetkin, he has heart which could really be something in the heavys today.

This going over old ground, the fight should have been stopped when Sexton turned away from Rogan on the ropes, before the gumshield incident.

As for Rogan being outboxed, that didn't stop him from being seconds away from stopping Sexton. Rogan was more impressive than Sexton in that fight despite the outcome.

I am a big Rogan fan, but Sexton was more impressive in the fight IMO - he was outboxing him and hurt him on a couple of occasions.

That's your opinion which you are entitled to it, but the thread starter obviously saw it differently as did a lot of other people who watched that fight.

Someone who is so impressively outboxing his opponent and hurting him should not have to resort to dirty tactics to win.

Headbutting, spitting out gumshield, and then sucker punching Rogan when it was obvious he was trying to get the referees attention so Sexton could put his gumshield back in.

    Is that enough for you?

Yeah because the 'sucker punch' did a lot of damage

Yes it was a scrappy fight, headbutts happened, so did Rogan hitting Sexton on the back of the head, but that doesn't get mentioned because of the overwhelming favouritism towards Rogan. Like I said I like Rogan, don't like Sexton that much, but he is not getting a fair crack of the whip here.
