Why does it matter, I like Joshua, as I said, I wish him the best and even if he does lose tomorrow night its not his end. Read my original post, I state that he has a future even if he does lose tomorrow, this has nothing to do with nations.. Boxing is greater than national lines. Grow up.
I live on Gilligan's Island!! :deal :yep we got satellite internet now!!! Martin KTFO 5 Joshua big muscles twitching on canvas! :dead kill the head and the big muscles go limp! like Sanders vs Waldo... Martin takes his time but if Joshua tries to bum-rush him Joshua may run into something and this thing could end early... like Sanders KTFO 2 Waldo... :hey
unless there's a payoff in play... this looks bad for Joshua... he comes in on opponents, runs into shots... his chin is suspect... his first southpaw... Joshua gets face-planted...
Joshua's best opponent... Whyte!!! ??? who??? yeah... the guy who's biggest claim to fame was a victory over Joshua as an amateur!!! who else has he fought?? some undefeated cab driver from Scotland?? washed up never was Fraudley and Johnson??? his title shot looks as pathetic as Wilder paying his best friend to take a dive in an 'Eliminator'!!!
btw... Hey Martin!!! Don't drink the water!!!! so you can expose another Hype Train... like Thompson vs Price - Two Times!! :yep may be too late... he drank the water spiked with Turbo Lax and took the free Hookers to drain him and they kept him doing interviews around the clock until fight time... :hey
Sorry but if you want to criticize resumes....who the hell has Martin fought? Absolutely nobody! He was a cherry pick gone wrong and didn't even "beat" Giftkov to win the paper title. He should have never been anywhere near a title shot, except that American HW's suck so badly that he held that useless NABO trinket.
I don't really care for Joshua but would like to see him win as I am a Brit and it would be good to see the heavyweight titles being held over here. Providing Fury wins the rematch with Wlad it sets up a nice fight between Joshua and Fury. Looking at Martin, I am not impressed. Leaves his chin hanging out there and Joshua will clip that target. Joshua and Martin are about the same level but I think Joshua has looked the more impressive of the two, he certainly has the amatuer pedigree. I would say the Whyte fight raises a few questions. If Joshua comes out and hits Martin the way he hit Whyte in the opening round would Charles be able to withstand it? Does Martin have the power to keep Joshua contained? All in an interesting fight between prospects. Sad state of affairs that this is billed as a world championship fight though.
I agree it is a sad state of affairs that this is actually a world title fight. In reality they are both just prospects/fringe contenders. People need to put into context the reality of this fight, whoever wins. It's just another step forward the title is really meaningless other than it's use as a marketing tool.
Buffer said in an interview on IFLTV (youtube channel )that he was booked for the Joshua v Martin fight first and so said it was simply a case of first come first served, so that's why he's not doing pac v Bradley. Simple as that.
