Charles Martin hits hard and is a SP. He doesnt overcommit like many bangers like to do, but his chin is still untested, and the CR hand of Stiverne could be just the test Martin needs. Who wins and how.:think
Seriously????atsch What answer does Stiverne have for that R jab and straight L hand, ASIDE from having an iron chin.atsch
Stiverne would have a good chance to catch Martin with a hard shot, because Martin is slow like a snail.
Its a hypothetical matchup because both Stiverne and Martin believe themselves ready for a title shot at eiter Wilder, Wlad or Chagaev, but neither is directly in line for one. Making this fight would catapult the winner right into the title shot picture. Stiverne obviously had the better credential, but Martin seems much more active and fluid in the ring, younger, stronger, and FASTER.:good
If Martin is slow as a snail, then Stiverne is slower than an amoeba. atsch Which is even slower than a paramecium because paramecium's have harilike legs surrounding their bodies soas they can proceed to do their moving without assistance from other cells.:good
Stiverne the slug would find a way to lose probably. Martin needs to be tested first, but I like what I see from him so far.
Yeah, me too. And yeah Stiverne will prbably ALWAYS find a way to lose against faster, strong fighters. :think
He was getting outboxed by an old Ray Austin before rallying in the 10th for crying out loud, Arreola clearly was ahead in their second fight before the series of knockdowns. Stiverne can be outboxed by just about anyone who's active enough. His counter punching ability has bailed him out of some bad situations, but it certainly wouldn't save him against everyone. Stiverne could lose to almost anyone in the top 30. His workrate, and lackadaisical style are major flaws. I was convinced that he was sharp enough to capitalize on Wilders crudeness, and weak punch resistance, but that fight just goes to show that Stiverne can't deal with any sort of activity of movement. I'm convinced that even Scott could shut him out, Hell even Kingpin could possibly beat him on a good night. Stiverne is that limited.
Stiverne just showed up against Deontay was dissapointed in that, thought he'd get the easy KO because of this somehow legend that Wilder had a glass jaw?? Anyhow, I was for Stiverne but not a fan at all , he will probably deffeat martin though
