Ward doesnt really deserve his shot but I think Hall will lose the strap as soon as he faces someone elite, this defence just means we have a british world champion for a little longer.

Why couldnt we have Hall v Mcdonnel 2 or would that be too difficult now seeing as Mcdonnel is with fast cars.

I get the feeling that it's next to impossible given the situation between McDonnell and Hobson unless it's a mandatory defence. I agree that Hall will lose the title as soon as he faces someone half decent- would it be too much of a stretch for Frampton to move down?

Milking the title by the looks of it, as someone else said he wont be able to keep hold of it for long.

Quite right IMO. Dennis Hobson was out of pocket BIG TIME for his fighters last year so this is him and Stu's chance to earn some decent money.
I also think we will see Stu rise to another level now that he is a world titlist so it'll take a good fighter to take the belt off him.

Wether it was Hall or McDonnell I dont think any of them keep it for long.

One of the worst title fights in memory. It's not that often you get to domestic fighters at best contesting a world strap. Good luck to Hall money wise but this fight couldn't be much worse.

what did you expect? i assume this is a voluntary defence and soon the IBF will make Hall defend against a manadory.

If he didn't happen to have the IBF belt, there would be nothing wrong with this match-up.

...but yeah, for a world title, pretty awful. (of course, the same was said by many including me of Hall vs. Malinga, a shot Hall didn't seem to deserve yet made the most of...)

I would really love to see a Hall v Mcdonnell 2 but i just cant see it happening with the politics getting in the way.
