The BEST should fight the BEST.

    End of story.

Martinez struggles with eurobums and loses to guys like Paul Williams

Martinez needs to prove his worth. Beating a boozed up Pavlik won't do it.

Guerrero is nothing on Mayweather's radar as of now.

    He is the best.

Can you name anyone at 154-160 that is ranked higher PFP than Martinez, aside from Mayweather?

    Exactly.

    You can't.

So Mayweather can fight the best viable opponent from 154 up which is Martinez or the best viable opponent from 147 down which is Pacquaio.

What is wrong with the BEST fighting the BEST?

If Mayweather is the BEST, and he says he's the BEST, then he has to prove it by fighting.....you guessed it, THE BEST.

Martinez fights at 160. Floyd just beat the BEST 154 lb'er. Martinez hasn't done **** at 154.

Except win a title, then move up as a small middleweight and take the title from Pavlik and make several defenses.

You don't make any damn sense.

If Martinez decided to move to 154, he is automatically the best.

Most PFP lists have him ranked in the TOP FIVE.

    This is INDISPUTABLE.

Mayweather can fight Pacquaio or Martinez who is willing to fight at 154.

    Are you just a troll?

And for the record what exactly did Mayweather accomplish at 154 to earn a shot at Cotto?

You see how much sense you DON'T make?

Martinez never won a title at 154.

Mayweather is as scared of Pac and Martinez as he was scared of Mosley and Cotto which is 0%.

Same thing happend with Mosley and Cotto. It was Mayweather's fault that Mosley didnt' want to fight him in 99 and Mayweather was ducking him. It was Mayweathers fault Cotto didn't want to fight him in 2006 and Mayweather was ducking him. He was supposedly scared of both as they brought power and strength that he couldn't handle or whatever.

Its the same cycle over and over. Mayweather is scared of fighter A, Mayweather fights fighter A, No credit for win (insert excuse here). Mayweather fights and beats Pac and Martinez. Mayweather will now be scared of Canelo and Kell Brook or some ****.

But why don't I hear about this with any other fighters?

I don't hear about Cotto ducking such and such. I odn't here about Margarito ducking such and such.

I don't hear about Pacquaio ducking such and such.

I only hear about Mayweather. When you're in this situation 100 times, I think YOU MIGHT be the problem.

    Mayweather is the problem.

Until he fights Martinez who will fight him for $10 or Pacquaio who he made 10 million stipulations for, he's ducking them.

He said he would fight them, he hasn't.

    That's called DUCKING.

Going 1-1 with Paul Williams is not going to get you a Mayweather fight.

    Carlos Quintana did that.
