Im telling you the reality, you can come make threads every day throwing a fit like a 12 yr old girl. Or you can accept reality like a grown man. Its up to Martinez to entice Mayweather by creating buzz. Signing with GBP will help him do that. Mayweather doesn't have much to gain over this fight other then die hards giving him temporary praise, just like when he whopped Corrales ass. At the time Corrales was a monster, p4p rated higher then Mayweather, young undefeated, bigger then Mayweather and a deadly puncher. Mayweather whops his ass and people to this day say stuff like Mayweather never fought a HOF in his prime.

 

Hell, Martinez won't even make it into the HOF in all likelihood. He's not doing **** at middleweight.

Reguardless Mayweather has accomplished WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more in the sport of boxing the Martinez has and has fought higher quality of opponents through out his career then Martinez has. Has moved up and won titles in more divisions then Martinez has. Yet you gonna disrespect Mayweather over Martinez.

To put in perspective, In order for Martinez to accomplish what Mayweather has accomplished he would need to win the Light heavy weight title at LHW with no catch weight and be outweighed by 20pds on fight night. This after winning the super middleweight title. Though to be fair I wouldn't expect him to beat Ward as Mayweather never got the chance to defeat a Ward calibre fighter in his move up.
