I'm sensing a bit of hostility towards Martinez in your posts. What did he do to you?

no easy work. martinez is patient himself, he won't pressure the action and get countered all day. mad of fact, martinez will counter. cotto had his moments roughed up floyd time from time. martinez is bigger, much more athletic than cotto and punches harder, he could realy platter floyd on the ropes if the fight happens at middleweight. yet would be a super fight, since floyd if he doesnt lose his speed can always box from the outside and score points, therefor rounds and make it competitive.

And your problem with that is what? wasnt it reported by the fan boys after his sucker punch fight that Team Mayweather was running around talking about being called the Marvelous money team or some **** like that, basically hinting at a fight.

Hopkins did it and we know you all supported that ****, so why not?

I would say that the wins over Pavlik and Williams made him over rated. In his last 2 fights he faced euro level comp and struggled a bit. He is however a easy fight for no one in and around 160. He ducks no one!

Martinez will not be employing the style Cotto did. :deal

Martinez loses by UD at 154 or catchweight to 160.

Nothing, other fighters deserve the praise he gets and he has fought no one, gets put on his ass vs c class fights, L's he wanted no parts of avenging, but steadily gets praised for what. Martinez gets more love than fighters like Froch and Ward and it's shameful

No hate I'm simply a fan of the sport, and network built fighter like him and Khan is exactly what's wrong with boxing

In a fight between Mayweather and Martinez...I would slightly favor Martinez. I don't think Money can hurt him at all. It would be handicapped all wrong and Martinez would be a huge under dog. This would be a good time to bet against Mayweather.

Some think he can beat Floyd. That's usually enough to garner hate from the fanatics.

Yeah, i don't understand it. Logically he has a good chance of winning at 160. Some people just can't look at the facts.

Martinez is a smart fighter too. He knows how to box , counter , move and he has plenty of power and athleticism.

I think Martinez at 154 vs Floyd would be a 50/50 fight with the mention that Martinez has the potential to finish the fight earlier because of his power.

Cotto vs Martinez would be an interesting fight too and I think Cotto would have really really bad cuts on his face losing by stoppage.

Don't forget that Martinez wants good payday fights too with boxing stars.

At his category are Chavit and Sturm , at jr MW are Cotto , Canelo and
    This content is protected
and at SMW are Kessler and Bute !

The truth hurt doesn't it, you and I knew damn well that the post BHOP shot Pavlik who had alcohol issues could barely make & drain back to 160, and still he put SM on his ass and gave him the fight of his life.

When a prime Pavlik could not win one round on the 40+ year old BHOP.

Sit back let that marinate, Martinez is overrated as **** bro.:deal
