nope, not even close. boxing isn't nearly as popular of a sport as it was in their day and therefore that comparison is an exaggeration. furthermore, both those guys were superstars, something neither chavez jr nor martinez can claim to be. granted, I do believe that potential superstar status (for this day and age) awaits the victor, especially if the fight is compelling.
