I'm groin-grabbingly excited about this now. There's so many sub-plots with JCC jr. wbc shadiness etc... It's like being a kid and waiting for wrestlemania... will Bob Arum kidnap Judy Ledderman and go drag in her place?? Will Jose Sualimen sneak up and hit The Sexy One with a steel chair while the ref's not looking??

 

Who will win and why, ladies and gentlemen? I am picking Martinez in a hard-fought 12 round decision. I think Martinez will be dominant early, but will have significant trouble in the middle rounds. The real question to me is, will Martinez be able to regain his ground after those middle rounds as he has against other fighters in the past? Chavez has a better chin than any of Martinez's recent opponents. I am hyped for this fight! I am looking forward to this fight more than any other fight this year. Go Maravilla!!!

Funny, last nite on FNF(TNF) Teddy called it Martinez by KO late.

But in every fight he calls, he says the inside fighter needs to work the body against the slick slippery fighter.

So Chavez Jr is like the absolute best inside body puncher p4p right now, fighting an aging dog, and like Teddy always says, the legs are the first thing to go, but for whichever reason, Teddy refuses to acknowledge his own Atlasisms.

Well, it's official. Teddy called it Martinez by KO, and that means JR will KHTFO.
