I really don't have much of a problem with Jr. riding his father's coat tails, or getting the benefit of the doubt in close fights, or being protected. However, it seems like the kid isn't as dedicated as he should be to the sport. Showing up on fight night 20 lbs. over the weigh in weight is a tell tale sign that the guy isn't in the best of shape coming into these fights. The fact that he was out at 4 in the morning, drunk, two weeks before a fight is another sign that this guy isn't as dedicated as he should be. When you're being handed everything on a silver platter and you're not giving it your all, that's going to rub people the wrong way.

 

Besides Martinez, which the Jr camp is ready to fight in September, who else is he suppose to have fought? Those guys on the list are the contenders, they're the 160lb division. Stop being a hater.

He's fought legit competition at middleweight.
