this had shaped up to be one of the best BAD cards of all time. A rare tripleheader, big time prospect vs veteran with big name, LW championship, and the add on match, Martinez-Cintron, a match made courtesy by a kidney stone of proposed Martinez opponent, Joe Greene. So now, one fight is completely changed and one has lost a lot of the luster. Martinez-Cintron remains intact and I think it is a very interesting fight. I'd venture that Cintron has gained about as much as anyone with the fallout of the Margarito debacle. He has to gain a mental edge from the news, regardless of whether Tony was or was not wearing illegal wraps the two nights he pummeled Cintron. It'll be interesting to see him at the higher weight. Martinez is such a slick technician that I can see him really beating Kermit to the punch and landing at a high percentage rate. Now with today's news, I am suddenly looking most forward to this fight.
Actually the card at the beggining was very good, this one now is good or around that. The different problems the fights had were ludacris.
This fight is the main reason I will be tuning in on Saturday. That was the case even before the cancellation of the Mayorga fight.
Its still an excellent card regardless. The fights might not have the same weight, but they all figure to be entertaining scraps.
