God I was going to start my post with a unbias comment but **** this made me laugh, at least one of Sergio's predictions came true :rofl

But honestly everyone needs to stop bitching, Martinez dominated the fight yes and proved in every way he was better than Chavez however Chavez showed he had a good punch (all be it a desperate last effort) and dropped Martinez however he couldnt finish the job with half the round to go with Matinez fighting instead of holding.

Now when you outweigh your 37 year old opponent by 15 lbs, hurt him, drop him and still cant finish him then its safe to say who the better fighter is and Martinez deserved the win and Julio deserves a tiny amount of credit as it took the luster off a near shutout win from Sergio Martinez.

Now lets stop fighting about this and just take into consideration what a great night of boxing that was

Marcos Maidana - Jesus Soto Karass in a FOTY candidate ending via TKO
Roman Martinez - Martin Beltran Jr in another FOTY candidate
and Sergio Martinez dominating JCC Jr only to stop history from repeating itself in a heart stopping final round
