Favoring Pirog to beat Martinez, and saying it in the manner you did, makes me think you thought Clottey and Margarito had a chance against Pacquiao. Really, I do think you are that off base here, and I am no Martinez fan at all.

Here's the story on Martinez. Good welterweight. PRetty good JMW. Decent MW who came along at the right time. He's undersized for the division and wouldn't have the title if there were any good middleweights around. He's a lunging, awkward hook artist like Sam Soliman with better power, and that doesn't make him Mayweather or Pac or anything close to their level.

He got lucky and came along at the right time, with the right opponent and threw the right punch (with his eyes closed). I like the guy, he's ballsy and fun to watch, but he's no true p4p fighter. So enjoy it while it lasts.
