Martinez I will fight floyd march or may

At 160, Martinez is almost a shoo-in to destroy little Floyd.

However, I believe both men could make 154 (both have recently), and this would be a much better fight.

Despite being a Pac fan, I feel Martinez would be the favourite if Pac faced Sergio at 154.

And despite definitely NOT being a Floyd fan, I would see Floyd as having an edge on Martinez at 154.

In fact, if Pac/Floyd is not to be, then the fight I would want to see most would be Floyd / Sergio at 154. (No catchweight).

lets say the fight will be at 156, can may/pac weigh in at their usual 147 or in case to pac might just weigh in around 144-145?

Yep. Pac and Mayweather are helping hold up fights that should be happening, same way part-time De La Hoya did at the end of his career with everyone wanting a piece of the Golden cash cow.

 

i disagree. Floyd would be troubled by Martinez's southpaw stance and his size would remind Floyd of Dela Hoya. Floyd would have to fight life and death to win. Pacquiao on the other hand knows how to deal with lefties. he is fast enough to pepper "hands down" Martinez's face and has greater firepower compared to floyd to keep Martinez at bay and to hurt him. While Mayweather has the greater defense, Pac's defense which relies on movement would be more suited to avoid Martinez' punches. Floyd has trouble keeping bigger opponents off him.

you think floyd has the power to keep Martinez honest? He'd have to use all his skills and the best case scenario for floyd is to win a split decision or a close UD. He'd also have to fight like a fruit, the way he fought Dela Hoya.

Pacquiao on the other hand has greater chances of stopping "hands down" Martinez. His pretty face is very open would make for great target for the faster Pacquiao. Pacquiao still has his legs and has proved that he is well versed at defending and avoiding punches coming from taller opponents. the only way Martinez wins is to land another of those hail mary punches and i doubt that will happen

Martinez would be the aggressor with either man. And I believe Floyd's defence and counterpunching skills give him a better chance of getting the decision than Pac would have.

While I have Pac/Floyd as a 50/50, I think Floyd would be better equipped to deal with Martinez.

At 160, I think Martinez beats either one, probably by stoppage.
