Any time a bigger man, in any aspect of life, calls out a smaller man to a fight, its cowardly. Its no different in boxing.

Martinez is a coward for walking around at 170 and is a middleweight champion and calling out pac and Mayweather who are lighter, much lighter.

Its more courages when a smaller fighter challenges a bigger fighter. Martinez is a punk for calling out smaller fighters. Why not take on Andre Ward or Froch?

I saw Martinez fight Pavlik, he has enough size to take on Ward, so no excuses.

Those 2 guys who are scheduled to fight and aren't available for the foreseeable future? Those 2 guys who are proper super middleweights, even bigger than Darren Barker who looked a good bit bigger than him? I'm stunned he's not fighting them as we speak, the gutless coward!

Get your arse in the ring and then call him a coward. Horrible, naive "fan".

He's a SMALL middle weight!!! **** man everyone he's fought at middle has been bigger than him, even the jr. middles that move up. He's grown into the weight division and still usually weighs in a couple pounds less than 160. His main problem is that middleweight is such a crap division, with talented PROSPECTS, but crap none the less. He's 36 so if the big money guys (Floyd, Manny, Miguel) wont fight him at 154 (understandable) then he's stuck in no man's land unless DeLaHoya's competitive fire returns him to fight again for the middleweight Championship. Maybe have a come back fight with little chavez to set up the big one...pie in the sky type of stuff.

He's definitely not a coward, but he is a businessman. At his age, he needs to cash in ASAP and the biggest paydays are fighters below his weight class.

Martinez is reaching the end of his career, he needs a big money fight to secure his retirment. I don't see a problem with Martinez challenging Floyd who has already fought at 154. Didn't Floyd fight DLH at 154 and win?

It's all about $$$$. If Froch and Ward were the mega superstars, Sergio would be calling them out.
