Boxers who are the same size as you, or even smaller look bigger than you in the ring...that's what I noticed quite often. :conf

 

It's because your mind automatically hypes them up to be physically bigger than you, I noticed the same thing when boxing and when playing football. Once you're close and personal you realise you're not undersized at-all! Sometimes you're actually the bigger guy, strange how the mind works :think

 

Aye. Once I had been in a few bouts, it all started to change. Once most of the nerves before a bout subside, you are laughing.

 

It never cease to amaze me how some deluded ass fan could call a guy that fights for a living a coward.

Martinez can do what he wants! If he wants to fight at 154. his natural WEIGHT CLASS. He can! He only has maybe 2 years left and wants to make his Money and RETIRE! He is SMART!
