Martinez is a hype machine and Williams is glass-jawed?

You do realise that Martinez came up the hard way? He started late, earned his dues in the defeat you mention, actually lost after going the distance with the softly jawed Williams you speak of, and won the title as an underdog. He's the ****ing opposite of a hype job.

As for Williams' chin, go and watch his fights with Margarito and the first Martinez' fight. Sure, accumulation took its toll, but that guy was a tough warrior at his best.

Now go and start a thread based on someone knowledgeable's opinion because your opinions are hideous.

If that was the case he would of been stretched against Margarito. Did you not see the flush shots that Margo landed on him in the 11th? He got rocked, but didn't run or clinch, he fought his way out of trouble like a warrior.

How can you be taken serious after making a comment like that?

 

I don't like how easily guys in his last few fights have been able to adjust to his straight left hand. Basically everyone these days knows that if you keep your right hand pinned to your chin (the way kelly pavlik did) that's the only place he throws it. What I've liked is how Martinez eventually adjusts (adds other punches, throws in combinations, used more left hands, whatever...) and over comes these opponents. But never the less its a predictable punch that he throws and he's been lucky that he has not gotten seriously countered or hurt throwing it.

TS is a wined-up merchant. Please ignore him unless he has something actual concrete to say about his game. Or what makes him limited. So far his main reason is for saying Martinez is a bum is his resume.....well sorry to break it to you but his resume shits all over Golovkin, Pirog, and chavez's records....
