The guy deserves a payday, he is recognized as the lineal MW champion after all. And in order to get this fight "he" had to take less than Chavez! There's something a bit wrong with that, I imagine this motivates him even more to clobber Chavez. I think he wants to punish Chavez round after round and then knock him out late. Rather he will or not I don't know, but he deserves to be paid for his accomplishments in the sport.

Comparing him to Mosely I don't agree with. Mosely always got big fights and good paydays, and was in the public eye. Sergio has taken the long road to the top, the very long road, he wasn't given ****. The man should be paid, and if he beats the fudge out of Chavez on the big stage, I think he will in subsequent PPV's.

I dont think I am contradicting myself the points are if it wasnt clear enuff for u was when floyd orginally called out mosley he wasnt a draw. Floyd was a b side in the de la hoya fight that was when he started to become the mainstream star he is today

When Floyd was a draw he waited til mosley was past it to give him a shot which is prbly fair enuff as mosley wasnt trying to let floyd get paid off him in the first place

Another Mosley in the sense he wants a big payday? Bro, young and old everyone wants a huge payday! Sergio isn't 21 or even 31 and time isn't exactly on his side where he can lose a fight and have time for a comeback or regroup now can he? Where Ward, Dawson, other younger fighters can learn and regroup Maravilla is pushing 40. Doesn't have that luxury younger fighters do. You can't blame older fighters for taking an easy stay busy fight or a megafight. They walked the walk. Martinez fighting prime Williams x2 & Marquez Pacquiao x3 thats crazy! Especially at their age its an extraordinary accomplishment they put younger fighters in their primes to shame. Hell yea Maravilla deserves to get and wait for that big money fight.
