yeah b/c in powerlifting it is advantageous to be shorter (the range of motion on your lifts is smaller)
I think Sergio's win was good. The fact that he dominated the championship rounds and got the KO at the end can help forget that the fight was even prior to the 8th round. I'm sure the world has an expectation that if you are one of the top Pound for Pound fighters you should never struggle or look bad. However, the fact is everyone of these fighters has at one time or another. Pacquiao struggled against a 38 year old Marquez who was only fighting his second fight around the welterweight limit. Mayweather struggled against Castillo in their first fight and the first half of the Judah fight. Donaire could not put away a smaller Navearez although he had the speed, size, and power advantages. The thing that keeps then on top of the Pound for Pound rankings is the fact that they alway come on top. Sergio did that tonight by pulling away and scoring the knock out. Maybe it wasn't as impressive as everything thought it should be but he got the job done.
yea in a bench press but both structures have their cons and pros since its a overall squat/deadlift/bench ect and taller guys are suppose to always have that "natural " edge.... Im not talking about lifting weights alone or a certain amount but that even though taller guys are expected to naturally have higher MAX lifts there's shorter guys who are naturally pretty big/wide there selves and fit in with those "taller, bigger guys"

Martinez had a beautiful performance against a top mw guy / the uncrowned WBA champ i.e Matthew Macklin , period ! Now , if Roach and especially uncle ARUM HAVE SOME BALLS , they should allow Chav jr to fight with Martinez ; of course if Chavez jr has some balls too . Floyd / Cotto at 154 pounds would be great fights for Maravilla. :yep
