Martinez won but Macklin held his own, I did not think it was a dominating performance at all.

I know it was Saint Paddys day and all, but Macklin might've only won a round or two on crowd noise. We have to start holding judges accountable for their actions.

At was at MSG theater for this fight so I didn't get to see the HBO broadcast, but when Merchant said it was a close fight during his interview with Sergio I was like "WTF Is this drunk old fool talking about?? :huh".. I had it 4-1 before the B.S. "knockdown" and after that it was ALL Sergio. The Irish crowd there would ROAR with every Macklin glancing blow (mostly arm and glove shots) and I can see why that may have lead some people there to believe it was close, but In reality Macklin was entirely too slow and out matched from round 1.. He is a tough ******* though.

That's exactly what I said in my last post, BUT Lampley and Merchant are supposed to be boxing experts and should know better.. Maybe they have a lil Irish somewhere in their genes

It was tripping me out listening to them two talk. Look at how the poster above this post had the fight scored. Pathetic!
