Martinez might dislodge Pac as the P4P King...

Nigel Collins editor-in-chief of the RING was quoted "“nothing has been decided yet. We will be meeting tomorrow -Tuesday, March 15 to do our weekly ratings update.” ..... That fact that they're even considering Sergio to be the new P4P King would be more than enough for him to takeover Floyd's spot in Number 2 on the list at the very least if Pac will retain his status..

It's only the article that suggests they are considering it, the comments suggest it's business as usual and they will discuss the ranking like they always do.

He should. His competition has been better and performances better.

He lost to Marg, beat Cintron, went 1-1 with Paul Williams, and just beat Dzurzink. Good, but not worthy of overtaking the pfp#1 spot.

Don't you think Martinez should be at number 2 instead of the inactive Floyd? If they're even considering him to be number 1 the very least they could do is putting him at the 2nd spot on the list...

No martinez is number 2 now, only if pac performs bad vs mosley he should be moved to 1. But this is a clear sign to pac that he needs to step up in competition. Mosley is a bull**** fight.

To be honest i dont think sergio has done enough yet to overtake manny its not really fair, i dont even think he should be put above floyd. Am not a sergio hater but fighters are getting way too much cred these days, people were commenting about nonito being p4p1 etc etc its just insulting to the other fighters and the sport imo.

Agreed, i still think sergio should be at 3 and floyd at 2 even though floyds been inactive he still deserves that spot until like july/august.

Manny does need to up his game though mosley seriously? but ******s on esb will think manny is top 5 of ATG when he beats mosley.

    Amen!

Its like an up and coming fighter gets 1 big win and they're already ranking him in the top 3.

I'm a fan of Nonito and Martinez, but lets not get ahead of ourselves.

He's good and looking even better at MW but he's 36. How long can it last?

i predict that ring will put martinez @ #3 above donaire who is currently occupying that position.

but they should really put him @ #2 above mayweather due to floyd's inactivity.

I hope nobody would really think that, the mosley fight is just a big money fight for pac where arum wanted to hurt golden boy, it makes sense from a business perspective yet we boxingfans get bull**** fights. I would much rather have marquez at 140 or berto 147 now and then martinez at 154 in november or bradley at 140. It would be really great. instead we will now get mosley and marquez at 147, atleast that seems to be the idea.
