Now that he's defeated the big name of his division, there is no one left money wise. ( unless you want to see a reamatch) meh.... But 54 is hot right now with big names... He could face Cotto, Alvarez, mayweather.. All big money fight and great name fights.. Agree?
He is the king of middleweights, and GGG is out there and if he can knock out a few more guys thats a big fight. To be the top guy by far in that glory division is hard to give up. He is also not a kid anymore. If those fighters want him they should do what DLH and trinidad did and man up and move up in weight and fight him.
Mayweather won't fight him. Canelo would be a decent fight. I want to see Martinez v Golovkin. A proper MW fight, not a freak show with that steroid cheat Chavez.
Don't get me wrong, I would love for him to fight Golovkin, and Pirog, as a hardcore boxing fan, but legacy wise and money wise, he should go to 54..
He will make a ton of money if he wants to beat up Chavez again. So thats there for him. Those fighters should come up to him, if they want it.
I say get him in with Golovkin and/or Quillin/N'Jikam winner then move to 154 to final fight with Mayweather or Cotto.
Agreed. Would be a great legacy thing for Mayweather if Floyd wanted to add a 160lb strap to his collection.
