Martinez "No to MW Pavlik Rematch Next "

    Martinez plans to honor the rematch clause between he and Kelly Pavlik so no Mayweather in his near future ..He also wants another crack @ Margarito ..Apparrently he only was paid 1000 for their first fight ..Either way it looks like Pavlik /Martinez 2 :think

    That's interesting that a larger man wouldn't want to fight one of the top 2 p4p guys in the sport if given the chance...

    the title is misleading , i thought he said no to MW as in middle weight rematch with pavlick

    or is that just me

    I think he should fight Williams again assuming he beats Cintron. I will still see a Pavlik/Martinez 2 if it happens but I doubt Kelly will really want it.

    it was on the scene.Martinez and his manager believe in honoring contracts and he'd rather avenge what he feels is his only decisive(by TKO7) loss to Margacheato. So he'll fight Pavlik for the rematch in the contract and then go after Marg.

    I don't think Mayweather really has much interest in Martinez anyway. The Pacquiao fight is what everyone wants to see, and will pay Floyd way more money than a Sergio fight.

    Pavlik was about 95% certain before the Martinez fight that he wouldn't go to 160 again. Last I heard there was no decision made on his end.

    Hopefully PAV either rematches SM or fights a legit MW or go north to SMW. Sergio is on top of the world right now. He lost a controversial dec. loss to Paul "THE PUNISHER" Williams. I thought Martinez did enough to take the win in a great back and forth rumble. If Kermit "THE KILLER" Cintron bests PTP this weekend, then he may rematch Martinez for the right to face ANTONIO MARGOcheato? I guess, like SCRAPPY-DOO said,"LET ME AT 'EM!"
