    Hahahahahahahahah wtf are you smokin, you actually compare a huge light heavyweight in Chavez to midget small for a 154 pounder Cotto, Cotto would get destroyed by Chavez, Macklin, Murray, Barker & Pavlik..
    Cotto gets beat by any top light middleweight with relative ease, just look at what Trout did to him, never mind any top middleweights. This is an easy tune up for Martinez when you compare Cotto to Martinez recent competition.

    I think its funny he calls out Cotto immediately following a Cotto tuneup win.

    And yet he's quite obviously not interested in GGG and them other boys making big noise in his very own division.

    Maravilla should stop chasing smaller fighters.

    Good fight.

    A welterweight vs a super-welterweight for the Middle-weight title!

    Cotto called him out dickweed, he just responded with the offer.
    Martinez has already gone on record saying he will fight GGG no problem, he does however deserve a tune up after being out injured and taking on the competition he's faced in his last 5 fights.

    :yikes

    The Trout fight was a close fight and he didn't get muscled nor hurt....it was a stylistic issue with an unmotivated Cotto!!!!

    You may be a sharpshooter but you're not showing much of any sharp thinking here!!!

    :lol::rofl

    So Cotto gets a pass for getting thoroughly owned by Trout, because he was "unmotivated"?

    I am sorry, but that's not how boxing works, Cotto got his ass beat by Trout, plain and simple.

    What was the stylistic issue, is it Trout is a southpaw? Is it Trout is quick, is it Trout has good boxing skills?
    Martinez is also a fast southpaw but he is quicker, slicker & has one punch KO power, he destroys Cotto I'm afraid to say.
    Trout huslted Cotto & won comfortably, no argument can be made, Trout won clean.

    ass beat is a stretch. schooled is more acceptable.

    thing is....go back and watch trouts fight with rodriguez. that was a very close fight. rodriguez has won all his bouts since and hasn't taken any real punishment doing so. what cotto did to rodriguez was a 100 times worse than what trout did. of course we all know styles make fights...blah,blah,blah...but i think we're looking at a different cotto. i didn't like the game plan he had for the trout fight. that had everything to do with pedro diaz. now he has roach...it's a different ball game. u can't deny that.
