I think Sergio Martinez is very overated, when he meets a proper World Class fighter he will get sparked.

    Thoughts ?

Yes. Beating a drunk Pavlik and out of weight Williams does not give you a top 4 P4P listing.

At this point i think hes overrated.

A top 3 pound for pound fighter which is where most rank him.

Should not be having problems with the likes of Barker and Macklin like he had.

he's the most overrated fighter in the past 20 years. His P4P ranking is shocking and his fan base proves he hasn't earned it because were are his fans? he is a **** draw.

I thought Williams was World Class at the time of their fight and I had Martinez beating Paul the first time. He picked up where he left off in the first fight and finished Paul in the second round of their rematch. Many were calling it luck, but if you look at that round you can see Sergio attempting to land that shot before actually hitting his target.

For a guy that started late in the sport and at 147 lbs to fighting at 160 against some naturaly bigger guys, he deserves some credit. But as far as P4P #3 that might be too generous.

I dont know about overrated. he deserves his accolades. the thing is, does anyone else not think he looked pretty bad against barker and macklin? I dont think he performed well against either of them. he definitively ended them with knockouts, but leading up to it, he didn't appear very maravilla.

Give us a name of this 'proper world class' MW or STFU. Or better yet, give us REASONS why you think he is overrated. That is, if you even have legitimate reasons.

Yes, Chavez Jr will show it to be true. Sergio will start having flashbacks of the Tony beatdown until Jr puts him out the same way.

To an extent yes. People moan that Marquez beat Pacquiao, yet rate Serigo above the Mexican, which I dont understand.

    I have it

    Mayweather
    Pacquiao
    Marquez
    Ward
    Doniare
    Martinez
    Wlad

And I'm pretty set with that

Please...Jr's non existent defense will see him get wrecked badly against sexy sergio, who will be landing that straight left at will all night long.
