Martinez: Pac is a fake a$$ p4p champ, I'll knock Cotto out

Sergio needs to stop talking and start fighting. I understand wanting the big payday, but he's not making any money telling everyone about his opponent wish list.

As for Pac and Mayweather; Sergio needs to stop and think what it is he brings to the table. Right now, it's a rounded up 0, zip, zilch, notadamnthing.

 

Hold on one second. If it's ok for Sergio to not fight Ward because he brings no money, then surely it's ok for Pac and Floyd to not fight Martinez, also. Because Martinez doesn't bring in money, either. And due to his disappointing 2011, he himself is no longer in the top 3-4 p4p fighters. Donaire, JMM, and maybe even Ward now, deserve to be above him.

The only reason he's calling out Pac, Floyd and Cotto, is for the paydays. He doesn't give two shits if they're p4p fighters or not.

goodA guy 5-10 with a 75 inch reach is calling out a guy 5-6 with a 67 inch reach and the Martinez fans will have you believe he is a Pure 154 guy. He is built more solidly and is taller than the Great Middleweight Marvin Hagler.

Second of all learn how to read, I never said if it's ok or it's not ok for Serge to fight Ward. I would like to see that fight but more then likely it's not happening.. I expect both Serge n Ward to continue fighting in their own divisions for now. As for P4P who gives a ****??.. P4P list is a matter of opinion n every f'n person on ESB has a different P4P list.. If u have a problem with the official list I suggest u get off ESB and go make ur complaints at the Ring's official website. And of course it's about the money ******.. The guy is 37 yrs old and he wants at least one big check before he retires. He probably won't get it but nobody can fault him for trying.

Not quite, but he's calling one or both of them out in practically every interview he does. Should concentrate on that Macklin fight in March (If it's him), Chavez Jr later in the year and then see what happens. At the moment he's coming across as a bit too desperate for the huge pay day, and calling out fighters two weight classes below you for that pay day looks bad. If he plays his cards right he'll get it eventually anyway.

 

I dunno maybe I'm just used to stuff like this and it doesn't really bother me. It doesn't really seem unprecedented (see Hopkins whining for the Oscar fight), and the fact that the two guys he's calling out held the exact same belt he did means they're fair game (though neither is under any obligation to fight him).
