Yeah but like i said 2 weight classes Above. But not in a Good way Two weight classes in a bad way.

As Martinez has a massive reach for even a Middleweight and 5-10 he look a perfect Middleweight.

Yes i know he can make 154 weight but being as big as hr is standing next to Pac i think you would see the difference.

Mate so thats what i have a huge problem with instead of calling out these two why isnt he calling out Ward or Bute.

Its frustrating i understand he wants a big pay day as of his age but 2 hope he gets a fight with them two when lets face Martinez PPV wise and given his size its Major Risk for PBF or Pac for No reward as they have everything to lose and Martinez becuase he would have to come down in weight has nothing and not even a Belt to offer.

Yeah he's a prize fighter but is it justifiable for a middleweight to call out a welter? A welterweight who again could make light welterweight?

If that were the case, if the likes of the Klitz bros start calling out the likes of Ward, Froch, Bute, etc. Is it justifiable? Since the Super Middleweights are getting hot, should the heavyweights start calling them since their weight class is dead?

Again, I understand what your saying but personally, Sergio just needs to fight more to make more money ( at his weight class or above it ). If he's worried about his age, then he should have started earlier. Not Pac or Floyd's fault that Martinez is getting old.

Talk about the MW or SMW champs and fighters. I'm sure it is his promoter writing all the crap. Just to capture a meg about and payday.

Listen, of Mayweather or Pacquiao decline to fight Martinez, *I have no problem with that. However, you can't blame him for trying. Hagler was calling out Leonard when Leonard was *a Welterweight. Oscar fought Mosley after Mory jumped from LW. Jack Johnson fought Middleweights. Sergio's request is not unprecedented, and it's completely understandable. He'll probably never get Pacquiao though unless he falls off. He has an outside shot at getting Mayweather.

  5. He has the best roids... 37 years old and fighting better than he did 10 years ago. Suspect.

Look man you might take this as a diss to your boy, but its only the truth. Manny became dominant vs bigger men, but who was that and under what conditions? Why do you think Marquez at 38 going up 2 divisions couldn't even come close to dominated yet Manny handled the bigger fighters almost with ease? Because they were all damaged or old as ****! You going to deny that?

Now even if Sergio did move up to 168 and beat the 168lbers they all mostly in their primes AND much bigger. Hey if Manny fought for the 154 belt instead of fighting Margarito why can't he fight Sergio? Sergio himself said he would even go below 154 which would be bending over backwards for Manny.

So by your logic because Vargas and Hatton between fights would walk around close to 200lbs they should be fighting at cruiser? So Sergio should be fighting Dawson or Cloud? :bart GTFO with that **** bro.:patsch

***** Martinez trying to sell that he's 154lbs. fighter.... GTFO! The guy weighing close to 170lbs on fight night, wont even try to fight the 164, 168 lbs. fighters. He would rather pick on the midgets.

When asked about fighting super6 fighters... Sergio "They're too tall for me"

Grow some balls you ****ing *****.

Wasn't everyone saying Martinez was too small to fight Pavlik when that fight was first announced? Now he's too big and he should be picking on his own size? If he can make weight to take on Pac, Cotto or Mayweather then what's the problem? If Martinez comes in weight drained like DLH did, the overrated Pac would be able to beat Martinez.

I am a Martinez fan but if Martinez claims to be a LMW why isn't he fighting there? :? Why not go back and fight there? ****, he fought Dzinzurik, a champ at 154lbs but fought him at MW! He should of fought him for his belt at 154lbs and stayed there since he claims he is a LMW. He is not getting the money fights at MW and he certainlty is not getting none either at WW so why not stay at 154lbs and try to unify where you have the likes of Cotto, Margarito, and Canelo who are the "cash cows" at LMW?

Every fighter should always look out for their health. Pacquiao can hardly make 147. But he tried to further test himself by going against Margarito at 150lbs, and right after he won, he vocally expressed that he would no longer venture above 147. That's no cowardice on his part. That's just putting himself where he should be. He's reached his limit. Nevertheless, his run from 106 to 150 is something unprecedented and admirable.

Martinez should stop bitching. He can't make 147 anymore. He should just go north and prove himself the way Pacquiao and Mayweather proved themselves.

Funny...I swear at one point Sergio himself said that 156 was as low as he could and that 154 lbs was gonna be hard for him to make. Dude needs to man up and fight people his size.

Martinez has laid claim to a few different weights being as low as he could get. Take it with a grain of salt.

I don't care to see him w/ Pac, but a fight w/ Floyd isn't unrealistic. That said, fights at 168 shouldn't even be on the table for Martinez, unless they involve big bucks. He's simply too small for 168.
