While Pav has better power, he has nowhere near the speed, movement, nor pure boxing ability Martinez has.



Williams got caught with a punch that Pav would never get the chance to even think about throwing. And a punch that Williams would see coming a mile away. Keep dreaming.

Come on, Martinez may not be physically imposing as Pavlik, but he certainly has a better technique when it comes to throwing punches (not to mentioned that I see him as a superior overall boxer than Pavlik).

Martinez probably hits like a mule when he commits, as you can see on the Crinton example where the latter thought he was hit by a head!

PW took all the shots, and there were quite a few, by Martinez, and kept coming. I have no problems with PW's chin (or heart)...his defense is another issue.
