Martinez says he will wait for offers and then make his decision

    But how boxing works in recent years would anybody be surprised if those offers he is hoping for are not actually coming.
    everyone below 160 will not fight the guy, Arum will never put pacquiao in there with him nor any of his other fighters. Floyd will not fight him, im certain of that. Besides those guys there are none really worth mentioning at the moment, at 160 you have Pirog and Sturm, Sturm will line bums up in Berlin and avoid the challenges, Pirog would be awesome and i consider it a possibility but it wont make that much money because the guy is unknown, only other option I could see happening is Sergio Mora at 160, not that he deserves it or something.
    At 168, they are stuck in the supersix, he could fight the loser of abraham vs froch but thats not a very interesting fight when its a guy coming of a loss( plus i think froch would rather face jean pascal), ward will be busy, kessler is eye injured, direll is being himself and johnson is in the supersix.
    Bute is the only option andfight I would like to see Martinez in.
    So the only nice offer the guy could get is Bute at 168 I think.

    If I was Sergio. I would try to get Pacquiao or Mayweather in the ring as soon as possible. That's the best possible choice he can make. He hasn't many years left. I don't think he can get Pacquiao yet. So his best choice is to get Mayweather in the ring. If he beats Mayweather, he has the leverage in a rematch against Floyd. If Martinez beats him again, Then Pacquiao would get pressured to face Martinez instead of Mayweather. Then Martinez beats Pacquiao and again in a rematch.

    He makes millions, becomes an ATG and retire with a lot of glory having defeated the 2 best fighters of this era.

    that would be the best thing for him but the way it is going down they wont do anything risky anymore and just coast to making millions before they retire in a few years. I actually think even williams has a bigger shot at landing a fight with either guy right now then Martinez and that is saying a lot.
    Pac is going to fight mosley and mayweather wont fight until late next year, if he does fight it will be berto or some guy like cotto at 154, Malignaggi has a better chance of fighting floyd then martinez has. His only chance is Bute I cant see another way.
