Did you know its easier to move between the öower weights then the higher weights. Most multiple weight class champs come from lightweight or so and go up. Not to take anything away from pacquiao.
Martinez is about the same size at middleweight as Pacquiao at welterweight. Both are at their limits.

I always believe unifying is way more impressive than just hopping around in weight classes and winning titles from guys that are not even the best. Martinez is doing amazing things and fighting the best, the only problem these titles bring ridiculous fees.

This is correct. Zbik's belt also belongs to Martinez in my mind, though the WBC did not strip him as quickly as the WBO did. I imagine he'll try to reclaim the WBC belt if Chavez beats Zbik, as that's about the one fight at middleweight where he can still get a good payday.

As for Sylvester and Sturm, even if Martinez would like to unify against them, I doubt they have much interest in taking such a fight. It's easy to declare that Martinez should unify, but it's kind of hard when only Pirog has shown the slightest bit of interest in fighting him.

It's too late for taking this path. Martinez is 36.

sturm would be the only one worth his effort.

he'd probably get a good payday if he agreed to go to germany.

sturm needs to fight in america again anyway.

his career has just became a joke.

constant earning defences at home every few months.

the anthony mundine of german boxing. :yep

I don't think ***** May will choose to fight Martinez. He will only cherrypick to fight fighters whom he's sure beating. That's asking for the moon.

hes already established his name....did you not watch the fight last night? HBO said he was the middleweight champion and ring mag already has him listed as the 160 pound best....besides pac, hes pound for pound # 2 ...sturm has no balls and would never fight him, jhe already chose not to fight zbik because no one cared about it, sylvester? waste of time...pirog is unknown.......those belts mean nothing.....

I am calling for Martinez - Abraham at 160. That's the most exciting fight out there for Martinez...I bet he'd even go to Germany; he'd make tens of millions of Euros.

This. As far as I am concerned, Martinez is the legitimate middleweight champion. The rest are just pretenders holding onto a trinket.

No reason to, also I doubt any of those guys want to tangle with him. every other champion at 160 is nowhere near as good as Martinez and they are all essentially no-names outside of their home regions.
