True.. I don't care for him to unify or not right now at least.. I would like to see Martinez vs Sturm as I believe it would be a very good fight.. Sturm is underrated by a lot of people I think.. A Pirog fight would benefit better later next year or so when Pirog has built his name up more.. If I was to schedule Martinez's next few fights, it would have to a little like this.. 01. Felix Sturm (Around June/July) 02. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr (Around November/December and if he defeats Zbik) 03. Dimitry Pirog (Early-Mid 2012) Then see how things go from there.. Maybe a move to 168? Or maybe Pirog could pick up the title from Sylvester and then they could unify next year in a big anticipated fight.
...Did you have a problem with it when Pavlik fought Martinez, the 154-pound champion/former welterweight, and wanted to fight Williams the former welterweight champion or Mora who had only gotten a title at...what's that? Oh, it's 154! By the way, Boo, I must ask...do you still think Martinez "fights like Calzaghe's ******ed sister"? :think
He knows that these two fighters are at the lower weight class and I don't consider that a serious words. He only made mention of them because the two are the #1 and #2 p4p fighters at present.
Martinez vs Sturm would be a interesting fight. I´d like to see Pirog getting chance against Martinez too.
