Are we all convinced that his power will carry as well at 168lbs?

I could see Golovkin moving up to build to a possible Ward match up but I think something will break for him at 160 eventually.

HBO is getting behind him and that will bring big money and some of the other top guys should be interested in facing Golovkin at that point.

Martinez clearly seems interested in facing Chavez again in September so the earliest Golovkin, or anyone else, could get a shot would be early 2014.

Golovkin should be able to get 2 more fights in this year before his chance at Martinez comes up. He's already got an HBO date lined up this summer. If he can win impressively against a solid opponent in June and do the same 3-4 months later he'll be in a strong position at that point.

Rosado and Proska were decent enough wins and he blew through Ishida, so he's doing his part to look good against the guys he's beating, but he really needs to face another top 10 middleweight at this point if he wants to put pressure on Martinez to face him.
