Yup, Martinez shouldn't make fighter (Pacquiao/Mayweather) jump all the way up in a division he doesn't belong when he can fight fighters in his OWN division. :good

 

Martinez should move up in weight to 168 because there are a lot big name fighters over there that he can fight against like Bute, Ward, Dirrell, Froach, Kessler, and AA. The real question is "Is he dare enough?" Pacquiao moved up from 105 pounds to 154 pounds so why can't Martinez move from 160 to 168? Is he playing safe like Pacquiao who he was creticizing him for cherry picking?

 

Why do people keep on missing the fact that Pacquiao is a natural jww. He just chooses to fight at welterweight at the moment, where his fight night weights are even below 147.

He is basically like Marquez who will drain/dehydrate for weigh-ins and come 145+ come fight night. The difference is that Pacquiao is fighting at welter and he doesn't have to drain himself.

I don't condone Martinez callin out these smaller fighters, but you gotta understand that he's 35 and trying to get the highest paying fights. He already took out the lineal middleweight champ, who was bigger than him, and also PW.
