What a weak ass ref.

Shame on him and Cintron. Kermit Cintron eats a straight left that didn't seem to do much but he backs into the ropes and says he was butted while taking a knee. Then get's counted out and starts complaining and cursing about a butt.

 

can't the result of this fight be changed to a KO7? They fixed the toney/rahman fight because the rules were the rules, how about this one? ref reached 10 and waived the fking fight.

 

I'm so PISSED right now. And people wonder why boxing is loosing fans.

 

The ref waved the fight off !!

And Cintron as usual CRIED.

 

The ref was correct with his call, it was not a KO, he got up in time as the replay clearly showed.

 

The ref did not review a re-play.

He waved the FIGHT OFF and even said "it's over" as he was walking away.

Not on what I was watching. I heard him say "round's over" and watched him send Cintron back to his corner (and not wave off the fight).

That said, the scoring was atrocious.

 

Hardly surprised, always knew that Cintron was a limited decent fighter at best. The Margarito fans made him look like some kind of ATG.

 

It was truly a crappy night for boxing.

 

Exactly blue, who the **** gets a 3 minute break in between gettting ktfo and the confusion with the referree! If I were martinez I would appeal to the legitimate powers not for the decision(even though it was robbery) but to the whole time consumption in between rounds.
