Martinez vs Mayweather would be huge.

Martinez vs the Cotto/Alvarez winner would be solid too

Its obvious for anyone without an agenda (*cough*ward avatar*cough) to see the obvious logic in Martinez staying at 160 or going back to 154.

    Good post.

If he could make 154 so easy why hasn't he been fighting at the deeper 154 division and forcing big fights with those I mentioned, instead of ****ing around with the barkers and macklins of the world?

You believe that mother****er can make 154 if you want i know better.

Sergio felt two rights from Chavez Jr. and said he doesn't want no more of 160. ****ing disgrace.

It's a fair point. Why move an already small middleweight up to take an almost guarenteed beating from Andre. Not a slight on Sergio, just a fact. He couldn't handle a guy that skilled and that size. If Sergio wants to become a true ATG, 154 is where it's at. Canelo, Cotto, maybe Mayweather. Out of those 3, I can only really see the Cotto fight happening. Golden Boy will not sacrifice Canelo to Sergio, and Floyd hasn't shown any desire to fight him. Cotto would take the fight though, and a great fight it would be.

Pavlik and Williams both hit him harder than Junior.

Just not when he'd been dancing and clowning his opponent for 11.5 rounds at age 37.
    :yep

martinez is a mw now, im tired of people acting like hes fighting outside of his weight. he would have stayed at 154 if he was a jm. thinking that martinez is a small mw is like saying pacuiao is small ww. martinez wants fights with mayweather and pacuiao but no ward. if he was to beat mayweather or pacuiao would it be because of skill or size ? maybe a little bit of both but he should fight ward at 160 of course. chad came down 7 so should ward.

Angulo wanted a fight then he didn't want it after what? After changing promotors? After his immigration issues? LOL.

The links are reality. 154 is deeper than 160 and we know 160 fighters have been calling out Martinez to which he replies no he is a 160 fighter now.

when real 160 fighters want to fight him and offer him a career high payday, I believe Pirog offered him 4 million for a fight in Moscow he turns it down on some bull**** so he can fight macklin or some ****.

Martinez is hunting for a payday fight against a big name that is smaller than him, that is why he calls out only 147 fighters instead of anyone at 154.

Hell my boy Lara said he wanted to fight him and has been talking to his management and they said no, he said he would fight him at 160 if they would like. Sergio's team has no response.

    LOL

Good idea, because that's where his fights are.

But really, can he make it effectively like he claims? I don't think so. For a one-off fight against Cotto, Canelo or Mayweather, yes, he'll be highly motivated and shake them pounds off a lot easier. But to come down there and stay there for a couple of nobody opponents, I'm not sure.
