Like Williams and Pavlik and Chavez ?

One demolition, on KTFO, and one whitewash.

Triple G would get his ass whooped by Martinez. this fight wouldn't be even competitive. Martinez is on a superior level of skills , speed and even power than Golovkin. :yep

weak sauce Chavez jr didnt give him a reality check. Martinez gave daddys boy a thorough lesson. simple math. better fights at 154.

Two right hands from Chavez broke Sergio's hands and the ligaments in his knee.

There may be "real comp" at 160 but no more than there is at 154...plus all the "real money" is at JMW. Let's face it, the guy's almost 40 years old and he's gotta be looking to cash out soon. There really are no huge PPV events left to be made at 160, except Golovkin and he's still unknown to the American public for the most part. Any of three potential matchups at 154 would be HUUGE...Canelo, Cotto or Mayweather.

Yes, but he has a chance to make some really good money at 154. He'd make MUCH more against Mayweather at 154 then he would against Jr.(rematch) and Golovkin combined.

Canalo has beaten who exactly to make people think he would be able to handle Martinez? Canelo is in a deep division and still hasn't fought a 154 pounder with a heartbeat.

There's a reason he's going back. He's about to get the biggest fight of his career at 154.
