Martinez is talking p4p glory - and mentioned pac and mayweather, both much smaller guys than him. He's also spoken about cotto - another smaller man.

Why not look up instead of down?

He would be so small that it doesn't make sense. Martinez is a small MW, Bute is a very big SMW. There would be a difference of more than 10 pounds on fight night. Anyway, Martinez has said he won't go to SMW.

If Martinez want to fight a SMW he should take a slow one with no movements!

    Bute would KO Martinez!

So it is better to have 20 pounds difference between him and Pac/PBF?

Oh wait... you mean better for Martinez.

    Makes perfect sense.

the difference in size between sergio and bute would be the same as the difference in size between Pac and a regular welterweight. so yes, Sergio should try north if he wants p4p glory

Don't know alot about Bute, but Martinez seem a bit too easy to hit. Bute seem to be very strong, Martinez should stay away from him.

Martinez is not a small middle...
and Bute is not a big super middle.

The fight makes sense. Martinez just fought a guy coming up from jr. middle, why not move up to super middle?
Bute might be taller but he's not a massive s.middle.

you are half right. Bute is a v tall SMW. And I think after rehydration he is a Big SMW. He doesn't have a v muscular body but I think he's a heavy SMW come fight night. You dig?

Martinez is hell bent on not moving up, but I think he would do much better than he believes he could.

Manny and lil floyd are both small fighters who aren't ww, yet they took the challenge and handled business, serg should do the same, move up in weight rather call the biggest names who are a lot smaller

Martinez refused to rematch Pavlik at a catchweight of 164. He refused to do the exact same thing for Kelly that Kelly did for Jermain.

Martinez thinks "P4P Glory" means beating up little guys for big money.

Why does everyone think Martinez can just jump up to 168 and dominate?
