I think a smart move will be to go after that belt that is in Germany at 168 ! He will take that for sure and then have a mega fight at 168 ! What do you think about that?

This can happen after he cleans the 160 division.

If he does fight bute and win, he would never get a shot with pac, cotto or floyd.

He wouldn't, there's a man name Andre Ward that would destroy, I mean utterly destroy Martinez at 168.

He doesn't want to go to 168 and have people start talking about him fighting Andre Ward, now way in hell does Martinez want that.

Ward would beat most of the boxers but won't destroy anybody! Gee the guy couldn't even hurt Miranda!

He would destroy Martinez. He would make him look ridiculous. It wouldn't be close. He would knock out Martinez. There is nothing in Martinez arsenal that would have any effect on Ward. He's not bigger, faster, stronger, tougher, or smarter in the ring than Ward. Ward would crowd him muscle him and outbox him. He would not land any punches on Ward that could hurt him.

cmon, maravilla is supposed to be p4p #1 now, right? then he should have no prob taking on one of the super six guys who are just 1 weight division north of him.

Again, there is no way he goes to 168. And people saying he should fight Ward, bad match up as styles do make fights.

Froch in the post fight interview against AA said he was 169 in the ring and says he basically doesn't cut any weight, he walks around at the SMW limit.

I think going after the welters (who could compete at 154) is more for worldwide recognition than anything. As of now he's still widely unknown in his own country. If Sergio manages to win, I think he'd consider challenging guys like Bute, possibly at a catchweight. Beat a cash cow now, and then unify all titles at 160 or fight a guy with a significant name at MW/SMW later on. Doesn't sound like such a bad idea to me.

Say Sergio beats Pac. Since Pac is significantly smaller, I wouldn't necessarily call it Sergio's most challenging victory. Pac's win over an old, drained Oscar wasn't the most difficult climb. But that's what Pac needed to break into mainstream. Sergio should be granted a low risk/extremely high reward fight just as well.

So you won't have a problem if Chad Dawson calls out Martinez for a "money" match.
I mean just like Pac/PBF vs Martinez, Chad vs MArtinez is about 2 guys separated by 1.5 weight division.

    Right?

Only person he has a chance of fighting in that list is Cotto. Pac and Floyd will never fight him, and I don't blame them.
