Lopez is a natural light heavyweight. He only has 3 fights at 168, and he has weighed in as high as 184. He's a big tough kid with questionable skills and a **** resume'.

I'm going to say it again. He's not faster (even though he's smaller), stronger, tougher, or smarter than Andre Ward. He's has absolutely no advantages to bring in the ring against Andre Ward. He's not as skilled nor is he more atheletic than Ward.

BTW, Martinez defensive skills are lacking. He does not have the defensive skills of an Andre Ward. I have seen Martinez get hit often in his fights and dropped on several occasions.

    Ward would pulverize Martinez.

I say again, Ward would utterly destroy Martinez. You heard it hear, if they ever fight. Just because Martinez might be the flavor of the month boxer and you like him, don't put aside your boxing I.Q.

Just as I said, he has nothing in his arsenal that he could threaten Ward with. He doesn't have power to hurt Ward, he doesn't have the speed or atheleticism out box Ward. Ward would be a clear favorite in a match up, it wouldn't even be close. Styles makes fight, Ward has all the style advantages over Martinez.

Martinez is considerably faster than Ward. Only blind man can't see that. Sure, Martinez would probably lose, but he's a former welter weight. It's a fight he'd be expected to lose. And Martinez can fight inside AND outside. It would never be a beatdown.
Ward's ring IQ is overrated. He's very skilled/talented, but he's making stupid decisions at times. As was the case against Bika.

Pac and Mayweather have both fought at 154lbs. 168 is too far a leap for Martinez.

Pac even won Martinez's belt at 154 (such bull**** just to sell him as an 8 weight champ or whatever they claim it is now). Yet it's unreasonable to call him out at that weight? Even if he's got Martinez's belt?!

I really wish the best for Pavlik's carreer. Maybe if Pavlik can make one or two fight in whatever weight and show that he is back on track he will be viewed again as a great fighter. But right now we dont know and I cant blame Martinez at 36 to only have big money/big fame fights from now on.

Right! But he's too big for small welters, plain and simple!

Pac gave up the belt as soon as he won it because the preparation for the Margo fight as well as the fight itself made him realized that he could not go beyond 147!

He's being rated by some as No. 1 or 2 P4P, if so, then he should be able to move up a division higher and dominate.

Bute is about as big as Chad Dawson and he hits alot harder.

Right...you probably one of those ***gots who changed his name after predicting against Pac and getting owned by PacD back then. STFU dude. You're still a moron.

Get your **** together! Ward will destroy no one...and especially Martinez. Ward doesn't have the power to hurt Matrinez and I also think Martinez is a better counter puncher and also think that Ward's outboxing abilities are WAY overrated. Ward might get the UD ...but in the same time Martinez can pull an upset! I don't know who to pick on this one ....but I think Ward will not destroy Martinez

The only way Ward destroys a decent opponent is with his head.
