Martinez v Lee or Zbik

    So it looks like it's between Andy Lee and Zbik to fight Martinez in March.
    I'm a Lee fan so obviously I'd rather see him in the ring with Maravilla but even if I wasn't I'd still prefer Lee because I think he'd make it much more competitive than Zbik and could pull off the upset.

    stick Lee in there, better than seeing him fight ten more east europeans bums in a row for the next five years. about time he got a move on.

    Yup, he needs to take this golden opportunity. Even if he loses, it's great experience.

    He is but he is unknown in the U.S. Martinez v Lee on Paddy's Day would sell out Madison Square Gardens. I think that is why Lee is being spoken of as a possible opponent.

    So he rejects 2.5 Million to fight Cotto and goes to fight Lee or Zbik for less than a Million each. Makes no sense! You can tell he doesn't have haymon working on his side, Berto has lou dibella as promoter but it's heymon who advises him.. Berto got 900,000 for an undercard bout.

    Don't care. If the WBC plays the integrity card by the end of 2011, they'll give Zbik to Martinez and Lee to Lemieux. Winners to fight each other early 2012, with a couple of optionals in between.

    Chavez Jr will be too scared to get in the mix, diagnosed with insomnia & psychosis. :lol:

    Lemieux gets a title shot either vs Martinez or vs whoever is up there for a vacant title fight. Wins it. Quote me then. :D

    I'd love to see Martinez wiping Zbik off the boxing scene with a devastating career-ending KTFO early in the fight. His fights are broadcast regularly in Germany and BORE ME TO DEATH. Zbik will always go 12 rounds and will always win by robbery when the opponent is a top 100 MW.
    And yes, I have to watch his fights.

    What are you talking about, give Lee to Lemieux? Why are they in any way obliged to do that? Lee would be a voluntary defense for Martinez. Lemieux has nothing to with it. I suppose you just couldn't resist talking about Lemieux. :roll:

    Im one of Lees biggest fans and fully believe he will be world champ but his fight fell through this weekend and to rush in to a world title fight in march would be foolish....

    Take the fight with Vera in feb on ESPN then Duddy after and he will much more ready and sharp.
