martinez could have stopped him if he was more aggresive. with that said it's about time he got justice. i was so worried he wouldn't get the nod despite pavlik's face looking like klitchko against lewis. i also think pavlik is not as mentally strong as people thinks he is. there were time he needed doubts about himself and needed his trainer to urge him to continue fighting.

 

****. Fightnews is reporting there's a rematch clause. Guess we'll have to do it all again.

I knew he could do it. Pavlik looked so slow so I would believe he should move up to 168. Marinez then should take on a contender and then fight Williams. Let the guy earn some money due to the bull**** calls he has been given in the past.

You should go easy on boo, though. He's just backing his boy to the fullest, and at least offered reasons and decent arguments as to why he should. It was one of those fights where, if KP landed a big right, it could easily have been all over, so it wasn't that reckless.
